PUVeP at Capitol University's Extension Workshop
Dr. Holmer was invited by Capitol University to present the allotment garden and ecosan concept to faculty and staff as well as to LGU officials from barangay Patag during CU’s “Annual Community Extension Services Program Evaluation and Planning Workshop” on May 29, 2007. The invitation was facilitated by Mr. Noel Alegre, Research Associate of the Capitol Institute for Research and Extension (CINREX), who earlier attended the Summerschool on Urbanization in SEARSOLIN last March 2007 (see related news article). CU’s extension units will visit PUVeP in July to learn more about allotment gardening and ecosan to be eventually incorporated in their social outreach activities.
